Content Management
We have developed a core Content Management System (CMS) called Aston which is an n-tier solution based on Microsoft technologies.
It provides the ability to add, edit and publish content with full document/publication versioning including the provision of documents and attachments (images, forms etc.).
We also provide a Word add-in which enabled access to the core CMS functionality without leaving the central editing environment.
Content Management:
- Add, edit and delete documents/attachments
- Separate content using folders
- Assign, check-out, check-in, undo and rollback
Publish:
- Review content still being processed before publishing
- Extract all or only changed content for publishing
- Ability for third party to re-supply revised document/attachments back into the CMS as a new version
Administration:
- User management and authorisation
- User entitlements with various defined roles
- Email notification of changes
- Utility to archive legacy versions to keep content store optimised
